TRICIA  WALKING FOR CHARITY AGAIN !

TriciaTricia and her two work colleagues have walked 100 miles or so, on the West Highland Way from Milngavie (just outside Glasgow) to Fort William - with a jaunt up Ben Nevis at the end!
The walk took place from 22nd – 27th June and they are aiming to raise at least £ 500 for new staging at the Lantern Arts Centre, Raynes Park where Tricia is a Fundraising Trustee.
The Lantern Arts Centre is the only Christian Arts Centre in the South of England and is based at Raynes Park Methodist Church. The centre aims to be as inclusive as possible in its artistic activities. Through Christian ethos with love, friendship, and compassion, it is building relationships within the community.
The charity has no Government or public funding and it depends solely on fundraising and donations made by its supporters.

Tricia says " Thank you all for your support during my recent walking challenge of walking the 95 miles of the West Highland Way and the 14 mile climb of Ben Nevis at the end, totalling 109 miles walked in 6 days. The walk was done in comparatively dry weather with only two main showers walking the last 3 miles into Bridge of Orchy on day 3 and the last 2 miles into Fort William to end the walk.

All funds raised will be going towards a new stage for the Lantern Arts Centre, Raynes Park.
Thank you again for all your support!"

WEST HIGHLAND WAY SPONSORSHIP UPDATE
‘Thank you to everyone who generously sponsored my walk on the west Highland Way at the end of June. I have raised £1200 towards a new stage for the Lantern Arts Centre with your help. The Trustees and Artist Directors are very grateful and we can go ahead with the new stage in the Autumn’

Thank you         Tricia
