Morning Worship

Led by Elaine Bliss

At this service I will be sharing with the congregation a little about the Scottish island of Iona and the Iona Community.

Why has this tiny island become known as “The Cradle of Christianity,” “a thin place” and “God’s energy?” Who are the Iona Community? What are their concerns and how are these addressed?

Following this we will share in a short Iona service in which, apart from the Bible reading, all the material has been produced by the Community.

The talk will include photos kindly supplied by Philip Richter.
